As a training partner of the Rolling Green<\/em><\/strong> program, founded by the Quebec Film and Television Council, the Conseil qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois des \u00e9v\u00e9nements \u00e9coresponsables and Qu\u00e9becor, the Institut national de l\u2019image et du son (L\u2019inis)<\/strong><\/em> has developed a course on eco-responsible film sets.<\/em> The aim is to raise awareness and encourage producers to reduce their environmental impact by providing information about the concepts and actions to develop in terms of eco-responsibility.<\/p>\n

The objective of this course\u2014a first in Quebec\u2014is to teach participants about concrete, feasible ways to make a film set more environmentally responsible, and to help them develop the autonomy they need to seek out green solutions. Participants who completed the training session will be able to share their knowledge and put their learning into practice on film sets.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlways attentive to the needs of the industry and committed to best practices in audiovisual production, L\u2019inis is particularly proud to embark on a transition toward sustainability by offering the first training course aimed at film sets. Since training is one of the primary drivers of awareness, it\u2019s essential that we do our part and take the necessary steps to help reduce the environmental impact of audiovisual productions in Quebec,\u201d said Jean Hamel, Executive Director of L\u2019inis.<\/strong><\/p>\n
