THE ROLLING GREEN ACCREDITATION

Considering the environmental impact of audiovisual productions, the Rolling green accreditation was developed to recognize eco-responsible productions in Quebec. It is addressed to film sets wishing to undertake and gain recognition for a sustainable development approach. The aim of the project is to promote and encourage the implementation of eco-responsible practices in audiovisual productions. To obtain Rolling green accreditation, productions must implement a series of eco-responsible measures on their set, and be able to demonstrate the actions taken.

The Rolling green accreditation includes 3 levels: commitment, performance and excellence.

      FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When should I start the accreditation process?

The choice of level should be made at the very start of the accreditation process. In fact, it’s best to start the process at the pre-production phase, as this facilitates planning. You can then submit your documents once the filming is over, and the file has been completed.
