A DAY DEDICATED TO ECORESPONSIBILITY IN THE AUDIOVISUAL INDUSTRY

The Quebec film and television council (QFTC) is proud to announce The Rolling Green Rendez-Vous, the very first major event dedicated to promoting eco-responsibility within the audiovisual industry. Scheduled for March 26 at the Cinémathèque québécoise, this event promises an enriching day of panels, workshops, discussion time and many other activities, all accessible for free.

QUEBEC BROADCASTERS JOIN FORCES WITH ROLLING GREEN FOR A SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRY

All Quebec broadcasters will be on hand to announce their support for the Rolling Green program and, more broadly, their commitment to a more eco-friendly industry. For this major announcement, we expect the presence of various medias.

COLLABORATIVE WORKSHOP

In order to provide a chance for discussion and cooperation, we are offering a collaborative workshop on the major environmental issues facing our industry. The purpose of these roundtables is to bring the industry together and encourage joint reflection to facilitate eco-responsible production in Quebec. A number of themes will be addressed: financial incentives, studio and actual scene infrastructures, and the workforce.

PROJECTION OF A SHORT FILM

To conclude this afternoon, we invite you to watch the short film The last Rhino, produced by La Créative Films. This short film was awarded the excellence level accreditation and the “ecoresponsible film set” prize by the QFTC at the Vivats in 2021. The director and producer will be on hand to talk about the challenges encountered during the shoot, as well as the subject of the drama, eco-anxiety.
